Ron,I havn't pulled gov apart yet and broken old top gear is still in there.Gear broke off right where cable stem hooks up.Bottom gear is also bad.Have to move tractor to shop so I wondered if that broken top gear flopping around down in there is going to hurt anything else down there when I move it??If I pull that side plug,can I get the broken part of the top gear out thru there??I know I have to pull whole shaft out yhe other side to replece bottom gear.Maybe I could explain better if someone gave me a call on my LL.
