Our oldest daughter was about 3, (she's 35 now). A neighbor came over about 7:30 Christmas Eve and walked around the outside of the house jingling some sleigh bells. We heard it inside and told her to listen, I hear something. She heard it and said "It's Santa!!" We told her he was checking to see if she was asleep so he could bring her presents. She ran into her bed and jumped in, was asleep in under 10 minutes. Neighbors came in and visited for a while and then left. Was a nice quiet Christmas Eve.
