I used genuine Ford coils for a number years, now have been using generic parts store ones with OK results.
A Ford dealership partsman told me some years ago when they had trouble with a coil or two on a Mustang they typically would replace them with an ACCEL set of all 8. He said that was one brand that was even better than OEM, at that time, he said some aftermarket ones were NOT as good as OEM.
