Exactly Old Popper, Human nerves for pain is different in each person,plus knowing how to shoot a higher powered rifle is a must.Some on here will spout off what their next of kin told them they heard about it,without ever trying it out for themselves.I'm sure there are ranges where one could rent any size rifle to try the caliber out before purchasing,but most are just happy to say "I know how bad that rifle kicks" because I seen it or heard stories about them etc.
