LED, LCD screens look best in a bright room. Plasma is better in a dark room. Best Buy has the TV demo area dark, so the Plasmas look better. Target has their demo area bright, so the LED, LCDs look better! Our living room is dark, and no one sits square to the screen, we got a Panasonic Plasma. It is an excellent picture, no difference viewing from ANY angle. In other rooms we have one LCD, and one LED. They have a much inferior picture-if you view it from even the slightest angle the colors change. Not sure if this matters, but this will also affect price.
