I'm not Jim, but that's still a fun article to read over, thanks for posting. Of course, its impossible to teach in a few paragraphs what can take years of study and a library full of books to comprehend, but I still enjoy such articles. Much of my electrical engineering design career (retired in 91) was in low voltage (120/240/480) Secondary AC Power Distribution, although I had some experience with our 12470Y 7200 Volt Three Phase Four Wire HV distribution. I left our incoming service (138,000 VAC if I recall) up to the Utility Provider lol.
