I use a .240 Weatherby ,or a .243 Win, with hand loaded 95 grain Noslers. Both do a job on white tails. Son uses a 7mm mag - again awfully powerful for the purpose. Our shots are often in the 200 yard plus range, so the flat shooting is a plus.
