Well I always just used metal hog feed pans for shorter drain pans(They are about $6 each). Plastic/rubber ones are a little higher around $8. They hold about 2.5-3 gallons.
For taller ones I cut plastic five gallon buckets down to about one foot tall. For larger needs just used a five gallon bucket. For changing the oil in the semis I just took a 15 gallon acid barrel and split it ling ways and bolted two boards to each end so it could not roll.
For larger needs my brother just has rubber made garbage cans cut to the size/height he needs.
