Depending on where you are a 8N for $1800 is not likely to be much of a tractor. In my area common to see them in the $2000 plus range if the tires are good and they are in good shape. While an N series will do the job I would save up a bit more and go with something like a 601/801 series or other such ones in the 30-45HP range
