I don't care what anybody says,I'm trying it. These premiums are ridiculous. For years the premiums weren't even deductible. I paid income tax and Social Security on every dollar that I paid in premiums. I still have to pay 15% Social Security on the money because it's just a tax deduction,not a business expense. If somebody wants to complain about me taking the tax credit,then they shouldn't claim the deduction,or if they get insurance as a benefit of employment,they should pay 15% Social Security on the value of the premiums and pay income tax on it too like I had to do for decades.
