I was thinking the same thing. This has been around for awhile. I guess I still can't believe it either. I should of stock piled light bulbs and didn't. I had hoped the price would come down on the "new" versions but so far they still seem pretty expensive ! I should get off my rear and go try and find a case of flouresent ones for the shop. I did buy a couple of extra ballasts.
