Brian it all depends on where and how you get the material and how much you do yourself...and when. It 1994/5 I built a 138X40X16 pole building with dirt floor for under 17K. Poles were used power poles at no cost except hauling and I hauled myself. Oak beams for the top of the poles were from a local sawmill. Trusses form a truss mill across the road, no hauling cost. The nailers from another sawmill. The steel from a outfit I found in Lancaster Farmer in Pennsylvinia (sp). The major cost items were the trusses and the steel siding. There's been some inflation since 1994 which will drive costs up.
