Was 30 deg F even at 530 am, mild for sitting in the deer stand this morning, no wind either. It has been mild in these parts for the entire fall, with some cold fronts passing through, funny how it can go either way, seems we are always at the mercy of the jet stream. We will need some bitter cold to kill some of the bugs off, will also appreciate some mild days to get next years wood done, now sitting in 2 log piles on each side of the house.
