When I was a GM salesman, I sold a new vehicle of some sort. Next day the guy called, all in a lather.
He said all he did was touch the button for the driver's window and the window dropped all the way down. I had to explain to him that it was supposed to do that, that it was a "Auto Down" feature on the window. (I filed that in my memory bank of things to explain to buyers).
GM Customer Service people told us that statistically, of all the calls they got about new vehicles, 62% could have been answered by the owner reading the owner's manual.
