Apparently, when the consumers in South Dakota are given a choice with blender pumps that E15 becomes the #2 seller, even when straight gas is a choice and when it is all totaled up, this station sells up to 28% ethanol in a month.
I do admit that I only buy E85 when it makes economic sense. My truck isn't flex fuel, so I have to blend it manually to get around E50 or less to keep the check engine light from coming on. As long as it is $.70 or so less than E10, E50 costs me less per mile. Mileage loss is about 10% with E50
