I would let them set unless you take them out and warm them up real good to boil the condensation out.
It is a good idea, as suggested, to drain condensation out of transmission and rear end to prevent freezing. My MH44 had so much water in the transmission when I got it, I had to put a magnetic heater on it for several days so it could move.
