When I had my rural route with FedEx Home Delivery, asking directions was at my own risk! Everything was by landmarks! One town was so small it had lost its own postal designation, so Tennant Iowa had an ------ Iowa address! Mind you, these were 6ish miles apart! Also had an Avoca Iowa 'Oak' street, but the county had an 'oak' road. FedEx gave us 'turn by turns' according to the packages out for the day. The silly TBTs got those 2 mixed up! I was so green I had no idea-WHAT A MESS!
