Brandon, quite often the hunting rights also follow the crop lease on a piece of ground. I always make sure that there is an understanding between the owner and myself as the lessee, because I like to hunt, and like to keep the deer population down on the places I farm. Talk with the guy- he may become one of your best hunting buddies and open some other places up to you to hunt. At the least, he may likely help you control outside poachers that you do not want.
