Kruser,you make me feel like I am out of touch with the world,I wear mine every winter season. LOL Seriously,blaze orange is only required on public land and a few other cercumstances in Tx. I don't go near public land,much less on it to hunt. When I started the grandsons deer hunting,I pulled out all the old red plaid shirts and jackets and showed them pictures in old hunting magazines. They thought they were way cool and even had a couple of old timers comment on thier shirts. I bought blaze caps and vests for them to wear while hunting but they injoy wearing the plaids in camp and while traveling. Hopfuly your dad is still around so you can show it to him. Take my word,it will give him good memories.
