I guess I observed that it could always be worse. It was about 25 degrees this morning, wind chill around 0. I had filled a big hole in a driveway Thursday knowing it was going to freeze up. I have to come through there with the silage cart. Yesterday I backed in where I needed to be and didn't drive through it. This morning I didn't think about it until I was around there,so I figured I'd just stay up on the high side. Didn't work. About laid the cart on its side. Couldn't even see the tire. Brought the tractor to a dead stop, wouldn't budge. I got the 4 wheel drive loader tractor, hooked to it and tried to pull it out alone, wouldn't budge. Started the big White and pulled it out, finished feeding. Not in a good mood.
Got in the house, the wife met me at the door. Said she'd just dreamed I was pinned by a cow,was bleeding out my ears and one eye. Said we were on our way to the hospital and I took my last breath. I started smiling. The reality seemed like a whole lot better alternative than her dream. lol
