Not quite sure what you're asking here but in general the answer is no. At least not the phones I buy.
I go to Wal-Mart, pick up a Samsung that's compatable with the ATT towers I want to use, sign it up for Straight talk for $45.00 per month and it's no different than my contract and phone I got from Verizon or Sprint.
Neither Samsung, or Apple are going to put their name of a substandard product just to sell them at Wal-Mart.
