Sugar used to come in 5 or 10 pound bags. Now it's 4 pounds, at the same price that the 5's used to be. Us old folks know the difference, but young people, raised on 4 pound bags just accept the "4 pound Standard" and don't recognize the price rip off ! AND...did you know that the U.S. has the highest sugar prices in the world..due to Govt. subsidies? I'll bet those 8 pound bags of potato's sell for what the 10's used to !
