If the seal is just hard and not been ripped Seal Lube works great. I have used it a lot. I have one seal on the swing gear on an excavator that needed 80-90 gear oil every day. I use Seal Lube on it 3 or 4 times in the summer, then I don't have to add at all. I have one truck that had a leaky power steering cylinder that I added Seal Lube one time and have never had a leak since.
