I constantly get calls from someone telling me they can lower the rates on my credit card. Most of the time I don't answer, but once in a while I'm feeling devilish enough to rattle their cage a little. "Are you answering to the lower your interest rates?" "Yes, Mam'". Do you owe over $4,000.00 on your card?" "No, Mam'" CLICK! They hang up. OR, (the usual question,) "Mam', who do you represent?" They rattle off something that half the time you cant understand. "Where is your company located, Mam'? Answer, somewhere in Florida. "Mam',does your company have an address?" Click! The kicker is when I tell them that if they did their homework, they would know that I don't even have a credit card! CLICK!!!!! I would love to have a few minutes in private with some of those B@$##$ds!
