I have one, and also an LVAD which is an electric pump that was implanted in me that keeps my blood at continuous flow, and alive until I get a new one.
Surgeons told me that they would not recommend it, but they know people do it. They said "IF" I was to do it where an extra layer of shielding.
So, I don't have a chainsaw, but I do work on my trucks, and tractors. I use my weed wacker. I do some welding, but when I do weld I have the extra thick welding leather coat/apron on. If possible I will get everything all tacked in place, and will have my brother or buddy finish it. Man, can't wait for that heart transplant!!!
