Good for him hazzardess pay has to awful. When I was a lot younger I painted the masts on the mothball fleet in Susuin, ca I was about 80 ft up with safety belt unhooked because I was climbing the ladder on the side of the mast. When it decided to come loose the top and swing back about a ft. After my heart restarted I continued on up someone had removed the top bolts on that 10 ft second of the ladder. After awhile you just get used to being up there and never think anything about it. The view is great. I would stand out on the yard arm and wave at boats going by. Bet they I was crazy too. Walt
