Been at the milo harvest for 2 days now with my JD 3300. While running at the bottom end of first gear and only using half the header we were having terrible plugging issues at the lower feeder house. I made multiple adjustments to the feeder house chain but to no avail. Since nothing else seemed to work I decided to set the feeder house up for corn (which the manual says not to do for milo). Plugging issues are gone and I can use the whole 13' header. Now for my question: is the manual wrong and does everyone set the feeder house up for corn in heavy milo? Or is my machine just "special".
