I operated a business for 25 years supplying food service operations with dishwashing machines and soap and servicing them. Every now and then we would get a complaint that our soap was attacking a customer's stainless steel flatware. We would go in with our trusty magnet and show them that while it was not attracted to the "good" stainless of the dishwashing machine and most other stainless in the kitchen it would be attracted to their "cheap" stainless flatware. So go buy some good stuff and don't blame my soap.
