Why would front chains help with turning? Gotta be rear steer, like my 944 loader. My chains go on the rear, to help with steering. Even better would be all four chained, if I had the chains. Front only would give best traction if heavily loaded.
That low cockpit perch shows how old it it, like mine. I passed up a newer model to get a lower roof, otherwise I"d have spent a huge amount of time trimming trees.
These are wonderful machines, and usually cheap. You just don"t want to get very close to anything you don"t want to move, until the steering feels normal.
