I have a John Deere 420 that belonged to my dad. I believe the tractor was made in 1956 and 27 hp. I still have a part of Dads old farm and I use it to pull the bush hog (5 ft). I have been thinking about retiring the old 420 and getting something a little newer with a bit more horsepower and power steering. I dont care what Make it is as long as its dependable and does the job. I dont have a set dollar amount to spend, but would certainly like to stay under $5,000. I would use it to continue bush hogging and maybe plow and work up a garden along with some food plots for the critters. Any one got any suggestions on make/models to start looking? Thanks Emmo.
