The NYSP went home for the day? Really? Don't think so Bob. If you do ever get around to talking to someone, get what they tell you in writing, it helps clear matters up at a later time if there is any confusion.
BTW, I went to the trouble of locating where you are, what Troop you are in and the phone # to a local Zone (I think) headquarters which is manned 24/7/365. That's rude alright.
