When I retired from my real job I started reading books during my spare time. I take my book with me on trips to the Dr. and such when I think I may be just sitting around.
I use to listen to books on tape driving truck. I have a small DVD play with rechargeable batts and headphone. I still do that sometimes rather than read.
I read everything from the Grapes of Rath, No Easy Day, American Sniper, Harry Potter, To the good old westerns.
Twenty years ago you would have had to beat me to get me to read a book.
Its really opened new doors in my life, helps me work my mind, and beats the heck out of watching the crap on TV.
