See a lot of big corn fields around yet, most are done or nearly so, but there is some left to go yet, that is not a good forcast. Out of the blue, at noon yet we were in a little bit of rain, light showers, forcast.
Hope you all are getting to the end, its been a long harvest season here anyhow.
I know what you are saying, boring job unless it gets exciting, but you don't really want any excitement on it!
The coop I deliver to has 2 pits and legs, early last week one of the legs chewed up some sheet metal at the top of the leg. They still don't have it fixed, been using just one dump pit all week now. At least they were through most of the beans and the big push of corn, so wasn't too much of a problem. We had gusts of wind over 40mph today, so don't think anyone was up there working!
