I saw him and his mother coming up toward the corral with some other cows. I went over and rolled under the fence,hid best I could behind a gate post. The cow came in for water,the calf was close but hanging back. I figured it was now or never. I crawled through a 4 strand barbed wire fence and walked toward him slow. His mother saw me and grunted a little. The calf started toward her and she started out of the corral. VERY luckily the calf got over center of the gate and I got it shut on the both of them. I got him loaded and got him over here. The trailer's unhooked and the truck's in the garage!
