That was a good lesson for him.
If they were HIS cars, he should have been able to find the tiles, or if he had bought them or let someone drop them off years before, he should have gotten the titles and filed them away.
Over the years, I have bought, been given, etc., many scrap cars for parts, etc., and have made it a point to get the title with the wreck, "just in case".
