Might be the drive isn't engaging, might just be poor ground, or
corrosion causing bad connection.
Will do. If the drive isn't engaging, will I need to rebuild my starter (or have someone do it)? Or is that an easy fix?
And for reference, this is a 12V conversion tractor (I am it's third owner and it was done in the late 90s before I bought it). I guess I should also check the resistor that goes to the coil and make sure it is still reading right, and I suppose corrosion could make the engine run rough.
