Tonight was prize night at our local secondary school, My neice and my daughter got prizes for being first in their year.....I was real proud....Daughter definately doesn't take after me, only thing I was ever first at was the dinner table! Lots of the usual speeches, wife had to nudge me a few times! (yawn!) but then the choir and some individuals sang.....lovely jubley. Next some of the pupils played bagpipes and drums.The pipers and drummers were only 11 or 12 years old but played real well....We all stood for the National Anthem got some tea and sandwiches and then home.
