Electric blankets are great. You can turn it on early to get into a warm bed and the room can be pretty cold and your still warm. If you get dual controls the wife can have a different setting. We put winter sheets on our bed and I almost never turn the setting past 3 out of a scale up to 10.Wife keeps hers at 8 or 9 setting. They have safety mechanisms so if you forget to turn it off it will go off by itself.If you have a cat that sleeps on the bed you will never get rid of it with an electric blanket.
