Socket bayonets were made from 1660's Brown Bess's to 1960's Mosin Nagants. Get me an accurate as possible inside diameter at the muzzle end, the overall length, length of just the blade, width at the back of the blade, and any marking on the flat infront of the muzzle. My hunch just with a fuzzy snapshot, you might find a 'US' and a 80 something, 90 something.. which would make it a Trapdoor Springfield from that time span.
