Well yes and no..V is the series which all it really says is your engine is a 4 cylinder then the 1702 is related to the cu in of the engine. Several engine or most have the same bolt pattern on the rear but the block would have a different length. That engine was used in several tractors and other equipment. It is a real poplar engine but also always in demand. I have several in different conditions depending on what you need.
