My wife's oldest sister had both hip replacements and she was in her 90's when she had the surgery and is getting along fine. She will be 96 in Dec. I think she will out live her son who is 68 weighs 450 pounds, has diabetes, impacted bowels & needs 3 enemas daily. Hal
