Yea in the early hundreds when you plowed with mules I think it was pretty considered you had to have an Oliver plow. Seems like maybe over in eas Tenn. ther were some Olivers sold but here around here in West Tenn just never took ahold. It is told that in 1949 this county here had more IH (Farmalls) tractors per capital than any county in the nation. Lots of small farms back then. Ih and AC both outsold John Deere around here in the early 50s.
