Hi The cow mat idea worked for me in a Massey 1135 tractor cab. measured/ marked it all out with chalk lines the original was gone so had no pattern to copy.
I cut it about an 1" larger than I thought round the edges and made the cutouts smaller for trimming room, cut it out with a jigsaw, put it in and finish fitted it, like the guy did in the house with the lounge carpet!.
where the trim went in the door I took the grinder to it and made a stepped lip, so the trim fitted level with the mat inside the cab. It took a fair while but man did that thick cow mat, ever quieten down that cab. The rest of that 1135 will be junk, before that mat wears out! Regards Robert
