I had to use the Baptist approach to find leak in evaporator, total submersion. The set of 2 coils on the right are the evaporator coils. Almost every elbow on the one side of the evaporator had many tiny pin hole leaks. The metal frame work is rusty too. The copper elbows look like someone poured acid on them. The elbows on the other end of the evaporator look normal.
Thinking the dehumidifier may be having funeral services real soon, then a trip to the recyclers.
BTW, this was a 134A system.
I have an antique dehumidifier that is about 40 years old, R12, never had freon added. Go figure, cheap copper.
