Yeah, we were all marveling at the time that the whole house didn't fall into the hole! At least, that's what would have happened if I tried it- LOL
Not much point of putting in a basement under my house- water table is at post hole depth in winter, and basement floor would be 4 feet lower than the creek which is 30 feet away. I figure swimming pools are better built outside, where the grandkids can get some sun while they're paddling around.
