Well, I was curious, so once I got home I looked and sure enough there's a square plug under the dash in the middle. Now my other question, whats a guy gotta do for a trailer plug? I put on the 4 wire adapter that was on my 88 F150 that gives it the lights for the 4-flat trailer lead. How do I get the brakes? I have a 6 round plug adapter mounted to the bumper right now that plugs into the 4 flat underneath, and the extra 2 wires are just hanging there like they were on my 88. Is the wireing there, just needs to be plugged into, or what?
I would also consider going to the 7 blade RV plug, it's just that one of the trailers I pull is wired for the 6 round so I'd have to adapt it. I was at the local Caspers today for something else, and they can get me a hayes for a little over $50, or a Tekonsha for around $100. If it's as easy as plug & play, I'll go for it sooner than later.
