LOL In Co Armagh and North Down we have a bit of a brogue, a sorta soft accent but the rest of Northern Ireland has a definate Scots twist to our language.....Called Ulster Scots( tha lankwich O' tha Olster Scots) and recognised as a language, but it is mostly slang and bad grammer! Better keep quiet about it upstairs! Aim sari we'en nair used tham Allovers, justincase nar cawkshoot mashines o'er he'air! We call a laneway a 'loanin' and opposite is 'fore'nenst'.. an amount of anything is a 'wheen' I could go on but I would risk being misunderstood and expelled! fair'n ye bye fer naw!......Sam
