Your mill pully is probably about 4" in diameter, that is pretty much standard and with that small you need what is known as an endless belt, one that does not have a lacing splice as they do not want to bend that short. And first you have to stake it down so it cannot move. Then with your tractor pull the belt as tight as you can. If it was a bigger tractor then you would need to watch tightness but not with your size tractor. I do not know the direction of your pully running so you may need only one twist but you may need 2 twists (if your tractor pully runs the same as the mill pully) to keep it from flopping too bad. You do not want a loose belt, that would only make it want to come off. Just an inch one way or the other on the front end of your tractor will be the difference in the belt staying on or comming off.
