Put a GM 10SI 1 wire alternator on it, you will need to re-do the bracket, just run the 1 wire to the old BAT terminal on the regulator, disconnect and tape off the F & A terminal wires. Reverse the coil wires. If you want the ammeter to read charge, when charging, you will need to reverse the 2 wires on the back.
Hardest part is the alt bracket, I reverse the standard one, and trim up the alternator case, to fit the reversed bracket. Also you will need an adjuster bracket, for the top of the alternator. I like to find a curved GM bracket, like from a 327 corvette, to chop up to make the adjuster bracket.
