I talked to a fellow this morning who went with a motorhome.
He said it was interesting, nothing more. He said he took it upon himself to do a little checking, and found the speedo cables on a number of low mileage pickups were disconnected. By who? Or why? Or when?
He also stated the obvious. Except for a few that had been shedded, almost all had flat tires, no batteries, etc. It's reasonable to assume that there were those who were naive enough to believe that just because a 50 year old vehicle had less then ten miles on the odometer, they could buy it, start it up, and drive it home.
I live only two hours south of Pierce, but I had other things to do this weekend.
